ABG Machine Concept

screen-redo3.jpg

Overview

GOAL
Experimental design exploring if an ABG (arterial-blood gas) machine could fit in a smaller form factor. The aim is to eliminate lost time, due to sending samples to the lab, in emergency situations.

ROLE
Personal design exploration. Did both the physical prototype and digital display.

KEY PROBLEMS TO SOLVE
Create a simple form factor that could be used in high stress situations. Focus on clear readouts that can be read from across the room.

Focus was on clear and simple readouts for the vitals that mattered most. Secondary information is accessible by a tap from the user.
